It appears to me that Mugabe is getting ready for his greatest slaughter yet. I have said for the last year that Mugabe has actually beaten the MDC and that I think he is strengthening his position. Quite frighteningly, his political party is gaining ground because he is tightening the screws. I would not be surprised if Mugabe won a great election victory next year because of all his hard work and preparations.

Let me remind people that in the days before Internet, Mugabe used the 5th Brigade to kill somewhere between 20,000-30,000 Matabeles. News of this only slowly became known outside the country 1-2 years after those people were killed. Due to the Internet, Mugabe could not engage in mass murder as easily because of the constant flow of information out of the country. I think he has been preparing to rectify this situation.

More ominously, I think Mugabe is getting ready to crush the MDC out of existence for once and for all. As I survey the news reports, I think he is preparing for the worst violence and crimes yet. For example, I notice how he is shutting down one independent newspaper after another, and is throwing out journalists. I think he wants to take control of the news for nefarious reasons: (a) So he can put out
propaganda about how great life is after the so-called "Land Reform"; (b) He can engage in violence and intimidation on an unprecedented level against the MDC opposition and few outside the country will know what happened.

I think in the next year or two, Mugabe is going to smash the MDC into the ground. I think he is going to finish them off, and get rid of this pesky thorn in his side. He may do it quietly by trying to starve people. He will also unleash violence and intimidation on a scale never before seen. I've said before I think the MDC's game is over. I think Mugabe is preparing for the End Game. Don't be surprised if he drives the MDC out of parliament in the next couple of years and takes complete control of parliament again.

The MDC should have fought. Whenever I spoke to senior people in the MDC, I kept saying to them: You can't beat this guy - he's too violent and too cunning. You cannot rely on the electoral process alone because he has the power to cheat you and he will use it and you can't stop him. You must go to the West and get arms and start a revolution soon -- strike while the iron is hot. But the MDC, being the soft black liberals they are, have no conception of military strategy. None whatsoever. Unable to even perceive or understand the true communist danger that Mugabe represents, they have wasted precious months and years. In the meantime, Mugabe has been working like a maniac to recover what he lost. And he has done well. The Black Liberals at MDC are no match for a communist thug like Mugabe. He will use the carrot and the stick to break their power base.

The Western world is soft and stupid as well. George Bush made a dreadful mistake trusting Mbeki to take care of Mugabe. That's akin to leaving the fox in charge of the henhouse. Mbeki will lie and cover up for Mugabe's murders. Don't be surprised if the South African government plays along with Mugabe's propaganda lies. Expect South Africa to play an active role in the deception at all levels. The next year or two in Zimbabwe could be the most dreadful yet; but the scale of the disaster may be hidden from us until months or even years later.

My advice to the few remaining whites in Zimbabwe is to just get the hell out -- in any way you can. Don't get caught up in the hideous things that are coming. When the Whites are gone, Mugabe will finish off the blacks whom he perceives as supporting the whites and the West. The MDC is no match for him. The MDC can start packing up their bags too, because unless they become more militant and prepare for the very worst they are finished. My experience with them is that they are eternal optimists despite the hard facts. This type of thinking is a sure recipe for their destruction. Mugabe will smash them into a pulp from which he will see to it that they won't ever recover.

Mugabe will kill Southern Africa's last experiment in Black Liberalism for once and for all. As the Soviets once said: "We will bury you". I think Mugabe is getting ready to bury the MDC.

Mugabe Wants Zimbabwe to Learn Chinese

I do enjoy seeing news items like this. So many African Americans have attacked me over the years for saying Mugabe is a Communist, trained by the Chinese, with links to Communist China. How few know that shortly after Zimbabwe became independent, that thousands of Communist Chinese descended on that country and that the Chinese were granted lucrative contracts there? The African Americans informed me, that being a White Colonialist Liar, I was of course, making it all up! Hmmm .... These same African Americans will yet be eating their words about the Boers and Apartheid too. As the ANC's communist colors start flying higher and higher, and all the idiots will say: Gee they seemed like such nice democratic guys. What went wrong? 

Zimbabweans are to learn Chinese. At least that is President Robert Mugabe's plan to prepare the people for an expected influx of Chinese "tourists" and to strengthen ties with the Asian country. And, as it seeks to replace Europe as a major source of tourism, the Zimbabwean government also plans to establish direct flights between Zimbabwe and China for the national airline, Air Zimbabwe.

Over the years, tourism from Europe has slumped by more than 95 percent because of the political and economic situation in Zimbabwe. Mugabe has repeatedly declared he would no longer seek economic ties with the West, which has imposed sanctions on his government, in preference to establishing stronger ties with Asia. He has also pledged to work at helping to establish China as a superpower to counter the United States.

While many Western countries have at different stages issued travel warnings for their nationals to avoid Zimbabwe, China recently did the opposite by giving Zimbabwe so-called approved destination status (ADS). Chinese tourists are only allowed to visit countries with such a status. So, to make Chinese visitors feel at home, Mugabe's government wants as many Zimbabweans as possible to speak Mandarin, and is putting the training program in place.

The government-run Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) said it was working with relevant ministries and training institutions around the country to start Chinese-language courses. ZTA marketing and communications director Givemore Chidzidzi told the state run Herald newspaper that the number of Chinese tourists to Zimbabwe had already increased since the ADS deal was sealed in December, recording the highest growth in the first quarter of the year.
